AGS Battle of the Bands Songwriting Contest Ages 10-17

Judging Criteria
Musical ability and musicianship: marks out of 10.
Originality and is it new: Marks out of 10.
Style and Presentation/ stage presence: Marks out of 10.
Writing ability and structure: Marks out of 10.
Overall gut feeling/ did it make an impact: Marks out of 20.
Total of 60 points available

Contest Rules
All band members must be ages 10 - 17.
Your Band must have a "Band Name".
All songs must be original compositions.
Absolutely No covers or parts of covers used in any song form.
Each band must perform 3 original compositions @ your Audition Round.
On your band's Audition date your entire band (all members) must arrive @ least 30 minutes before your scheduled audition time.
Your Band will be competing with other bands on the day of your Audition.
If your Band is not chosen as the winner on your Audition Day, Your Band will not compete in the semi finals.
No Band will be permitted to audition again in later rounds.
On the day of your Audition Round, If for any reason you're the only Band that performs due to cancellations;
Your "Band" will be automatically be entered in the Semi finals.
Once your Band has scheduled an Audition date:
Your Band will be permitted to reschedule your Audition only 1 time,
Any Band needing to reschedule there Audition must reschedule

No less than 24 Hours before Audition Date scheduled.
Canceling or not showing up on the day of your Audition is automatic disqualification & your band will not be
allowed to participate in the contest. No Band will be permitted to cancel & reschedule Audition Round #8.
